The project below has two sprites that gossip at each other. Each sprite comes with custom reporter blocks — who, does what, and gossip (and the second sprite's own who 2 and gossip 2) — that pick random words from lists and join them into sentences like "my cat is in a band with Jake."
Perform the experiments labeled A–D in the comments attached to each script: click each reporter several times to see what it reports, then run the say/broadcast script and watch the two sprites take turns talking. Then look at the second sprite (click "Sprite(2)" in the sprite corral) and do its experiments too. Once you understand how it all works, edit the word lists to gossip about people you know.
